This article shows you how to create a learning path in which you set up the order in which learners must navigate / complete a series of courses. Creating a learning path requires that you utilize the customize end-of-course screen feature; a feature that is available on the V2 learning experience.
On the Content > Courses page, click to open a course.
Click on Settings.
In the End of course screen section, click on the dropdown menu and select Custom. Enter a Headline and Description for your custom screen. We recommend adding copy that instructs the learner to continue to the next course. For example, "Congratulations! You completed the course! Click the button below to continue to the next course." Upload a custom hero image if you've like.
Next, under Primary call to action, click on the dropdown menu under under Button destination and select Send to course. Under Course, select the name of the course you want to send learners to next. Enter your desired custom button text. For example "Take the next course".
As a note, if you have the Credentials app enabled, there will automatically be a button added on the end-of-course screen to view the certificate.
Click Update at the top right.
An example customized end-of-course screen is provided below.
To include additional courses in the learner path, open the next course in the learning path and repeat the steps above. Perform the steps for every course you want to include in the learning path.
If you would like to require learners to complete certain criteria in one course before being able to see the end-of-course screen and access the next course in the learning path, add a Milestone to the end of the course. Check the box in the Milestone that says 'Learner must meet the requirement of this milestone to progress through the course'.
